Does anyone have a photo or diagram of the mower dive pulleys and brackets? Talking about the drive off of the clutch pulley. I’ve looked at the diagram on Cub Cadet’s site and they contradict themselves as to the placement of the left pulley bracket (left-as seated on the tractor). I’ve looked at YouTube videos and have seen an amazing array of possibilities for the brackets and on which side of the brackets the pulley are placed.

Additionally there is a spacer I am missing- - IH-489378-R1

Anyone know of a source for this?

John, There are two different styles, one for the 38" deck and one for the 44" and 50" decks. As for the spacer, check with forum sponsor R. F. Houtz & Sons, see the link at the top of the page, they sell new and used parts.

Part #4 in the parts lookup. 2 req'd

It's just a short piece of bushing stock inserted into part #3 to allow the bolt and inner race of the bearing to swivel as an assembly when adjusting the belt.

The pulley bolt goes through it. In other words just an extra thick washer to keep the bolt head away from the surface of the bracket, part #3, so once the bolt is tightened the bracket will be free to swivel along with the inner bearing race.
