107 Hydrostatic locked in neutral

It will not go into gear with the brake pedal depressed is why I asked.
Release the brakes.
Applying the brakes should automatically bring the gear shift back to neutral.
Look for something haywire in that department.
 
Todd - well that's your problem then. The hydro lever won't move if the brake pedal is depressed. Depressing the brake pedal returns the lever to the Neutral position. Locking the brake pedal keeps the lever in neutral.

(oops, sorry I jumped in David).

And, I might add, it SHOLUD NOT EVEN START with out the brake pedal being depressed.
It doesn't I have to go thru the brake/clutch pedal to start it runs & starts fine just like it should but the F & R Lever won't budge out of Neutral
Ok David - I'll let you get into more details with Todd, but I wanted to add one thing.

Todd, after you start it up are you releasing the brake? The lever won't move with the brake still locked after it's running.

I'll be the first to admit the opposite problem. I probably had 3 or 4 times when I had non-start situations and I said to myself what the H is it this time. Then I realized I forgot to depress the brake pedal. :roflol:
 
Probably something in this funky transmission control that this model used then.
You will have to get under it and have a look see.

I would agree that it must be something to do with the linkage and the mechanism that brings it back to neutral. When it works, it works fine, but theres lots of moving parts. I almost wonder if maybe at some point when you pressed the brake, it returned to neutral, and then the linkage managed to become disconnected somehow causing it to remain stuck in neutral?
