So I’m not very mechanically inclined. My 104 doesn’t seem to be charging. It runs fine and we can use it for the day off and on but the next day or after a few starts and use it won’t start without a charge. Could it be the voltage regulator or likely the starter/generator?

First thing is to check the to see if the generator is working right.
http://cubfaq.com/sg.htmlThen check voltage coming out of the generator. Then what voltage is getting to the battery.
