i just got a 1015 cub cadet, it has a 32 in deck, 10 hp briggs, the shifting linkage was so tight, i loosened the nut where it pivots under tractor, but it still is hard to get out of gear, i took linkage off tranny and it shifts easy there

Peter S Check out *Parts Lookup* near top of page.Type in model # than go to bottom of section ,click on * Transmission controls*.Take part #13 (3/8"bolt) apart from #12 Bushing & #11 cam ,clean dirt & rust apply grease & replace.Check #19 ball joint may need lube or replacement. Also check where shifter handle pivots, clean & lube too.

thanks paul, i checked it out and the spacer was rusted in the bracket, knocked it out cleaned it up and greased it, shifts nice now
