    Well, I'm not sure. (Not a mechanic). But earlier this year I found some fluid under the tractor and the steering was really stiff. I followed the silver arm back under the tractor and it looks like a power steering unit. Am I mistaken?

    I'm second owner of this still running Cub cadet 149. It has the kohler engine and starts easily even in winter. I only used it for pushing snow and pulling a utility trailer around my place.
