the cub with the bell appears to be pulling a string of "train cars" so I'd guess it's a kids ride at some events so it does need the bell.Now as for the other with the ornament and chrome rear view no cub should suffer that indignity !- lrenaud

Ken thanks for the link to the manuals.my problem is I don't know where to get the parts to fix my cylinders they need all new seals.I also can't locate new decals for the loader, Mine said "International" along the top arm and then "Danco" on the plate at the bend of the top arm.My wife is...- lrenaud

My 682 tossed a rod a couple years ago 1 owner since new.When I called Kohler about a replacement engine the guy I talked to could not believe it was the original motor!Told me it must have been pampered because this engine didn't last long otherwise.If I remember correctly he quoted me 1900$...- lrenaud

While getting some parts for my 70 at a local guys small tractor parts pile I saw the remains of a Cub tractor that had a belt drive that went down through the chassis just forward of the steering column/Dash tower. What unconventional repairs/upgrades have you made to your Cubs?I'm not talking V6 engines here but those upgrades like the trick of using a wheel bearing to fix the steering column etc.What little improvements have you found for repairing a Cub to better than factory specs have you come up...- lrenaud
