On a 1200 the 3 pin drive plate has shattered, I was wondering if the Steps were about the same as replacing a clutch on a narrow frame? Move the engine forward or attacking the problem from the rag joint and driveshaft?

Last summer I talked to a man that wanted to sell his non running 582. His repairman told him that it needed some electrical part that was not expensive but the labor to fix the cub was going to be several 100.00 and he didn’t want to put that much into the cub that he bought new in the 80’s . I...

Thanks Jeff Baker, maybe it could have a insie in stead of an outsie drain plug but still you would have to remove the engine to get to that plug. I looked up the info on a K181.

Went to change oil in my CC86 with a K181 engine and there are no drain plugs on the sides of the engine or bottom. I went to NAPA got a hand siphon and hand pumped the 2 pints out. Is this a rare K181?

Steve you can say I Told You So, While I was under the 126 adjusting up the clutch nut I noticed something around the drive shaft back near the rear end, Sure enough it's a piece of the throw out bearing. Who has one and a teaser spring that I could get without going through a dealer and waiting...

Thanks for the tip Steve Blunier, and Thank God for Gear Wrenches. I got the new clutch disc installed. Now I have to press the clutch/brake pedal all the way down to the foot rest to get the drive shaft to stop turning to change gears. IS this normal or have I damaged something else.

Thanks Kraig McConaughey, I got the blades off of the deck. Not sure where I need to pry between both sides of the friction disc and the PTO housing on the CC86. If it is rusted do I spray with penetrating oil?

Is there a easy way to remove the 3 blades on a 42 inch deck? I got the center blade off using an impact driver. The 2 Outer ones are really tight. I am afraid I will mess up the threads if I keep trying? HELP.
