Terry, I have a picture of what that double pulley for the O looks like about half way down here. I have it mounted on an Original at the present time, but I could try to get you some measurements if you need them. And, there have been people that made replacements. The article that I've...

    Hay equip. where to start?

Jeff, I would agree that a C is not big enough to handle a baler. And, I'd add a "live" or "independent" PTO to the list of things to get on a tractor. It's handy for mowing and a must for baling in my opinion. I've baled without it, but it can be a pain. And, personally, I think New Holland...

Looking for some help. I just purchased a 59M Chipper-Grinder. It all looks to be in really good shape, but part of the mount is missing. I've got a 2 X 4 replacing it in the pictures. It's parts numbers 6 and 18 in the parts diagram. I've never owned a Chipper-Grinder so all I know about...

My Haban doesn't have a guard either. But it does have the same close fit that everyone is showing here. I guess that's the way they were made?

Norm B. I'm a narrow frame guy, but with no spark at the plug, I'd start by checking the points for conductivity. If that's not the problem, I'd try a new plug.

Michael, it seems to me you could use the 108 and just make several passes. That's what I have to do with my 300 International with a sub soiler. It usually takes two passes to get full depth. And, after I get full depth it's real easy to pull.

Kraig, pictures wold help, but it sounds to me like Paul L. doesn't have the oil bath air cleaner but just a regular 7 hp air cleaner. Just my guess from his description. I know some of those air cleaners have an L-shaped bracket on the back that connects to the carb.

Model 107 Cub Cadet roller for sale. I kept it with the intention of restoring, but have decided I'd rather put my efforts into gear drive machines. It's been stored in my barn for the last 15 years. Everything worked when I pulled the engine and put it in storage. The left rear tire...

Paul, this was published here some time ago: "the really cheap ($10) IH-71930-C91 kit with two bearings, retainers, and races fits properly in the steering box". Unfortunately I just saved this part of the message. I think it might have been published by Paul Bell. Hope this helps.

I was told this came off a Model 128. I'm not a wideframe guy, but I think it's all there but the 1/2 inch rod that connects it to the tractor frame. The spring shows some rust (see picture) but I think it will work OK. The bolt for the spring assist looks to be a piece of all thread with a...

Kevin J. I don't know about your handle grip, but I use an impact wrench when I take blades off. That only takes one hand and doesn't require trying to hold everything from turning.

Don T. Glad the article helped you out. I'm always looking for suggestions for improvements so if you have any, email me. I still read it myself when I'm having a charging problem on one of my Cub Cadets. I wrote it so I wouldn't forget the stuff I figured out. Old age will do that to you.

    Recognize this pump???

Wayne, it sure looks like just another variation of the Hein Werner to me. But looks like it might have the wrong direction of rotation to be used on a Cub Cadet. Look here for some of the other variations.

Ray, as suggested, I'd start by checking to make sure you have 12 volts at the coil. If you do, your wiring is OK. I'd then check and make sure your points are making contact and grounding the coil.

Thanks, Luther. I think that's some of what Kate is looking for. I'll have her contact you for some high resolution pictures.

    Request for pictures

Thanks, Kraig. From what Kate told me, that's just what she's looking for. I never thought about it, but I'd bet you'd be a good source for all the pictures she wants. I'll pass along your email address to her. Again, thanks.

    Request for pictures

Guys, Kate Goetzhauser, Managing Editor of Lawn and Garden Tractor magazine, is publishing an article in the Jan./Feb. issue on rear mounted tillers for Cub Cadets. She has the article and several low resolution pictures. But for the magazine, she needs high resolution pictures. If you can...
