    Last day of deer season in Alabama! Took a high-tined seven point.Weighed in at 190 lbs. Not bad for South Alabama! Shot this deer with 30 year old(plus) Remington 742(in a .243),using a 50 year old Weaver K4 scope at 175 yds. Am I lucky , or what? Then I drove him home in a 25 year old Toyota...

    Brandon; The 149 will be easier to work on than the 147. Better access to the driveshaft/hydro area. Notched frame on the 147 gets more "cool" points;IMHO!

    It was a brisk 28 degrees in Samson,Alabama this morning! Wind was 10 to 20 mph which led to.... four ringnecks and two woodies NOT finding there way home. That's a daily limit of duck here in the Cotton State! !
