    Lonny Buttke (Lbuttke) Thanks for the reply. I knew it was a little different from the key in my 100. but who knows if it is right. The closest IH dealer is about 25 miles away, then remember that a good auto mechanic 5miles away that still does some lawnmower work and he had a set of keys...

    Out Township ( yea I'm a Township Trustee) has a 682 CC. Bought it new and now only has 160 some hours on it. Well the key came up missing and we can't find the spare if there was one. How generic is this key? Tried using a small screwdriver like I have done on my older CC's but it didn't work...

    I have a 100 that the input shaft to the transmission broke 2 weeks ago pulling a lawn cart. It appears that someone drilled out the coupling/shaft where the roll pin went to 1/4" and put a bolt in, didn't leave enough meat around the hole and the end snapped off. Anyways the input shaft needs...
