Jason Mine had a roll pin in it the first time it broke. It also had been drilled out to a little larger than original. Jason I have had trouble with breaking the pin on my 149 on snow duty. Last winter I modified a later style link from a 1650 to work on my 149. They are designed to have a bolt thru the end and clamp onto the lift lever rather than pin on. this is to compare the original 149 one with the 1650...- dgregg

Leave the parts cleaner sit. Check for voltage at the coil. If you have it there then check at the points. Should only be present there when the points are open or not making contact. Either get an ignition file for the points of fold and pull a dollar bill thru them when they are closed. Will...- dgregg

Was cleaning off dad's drive this morning with my 149 and broke off the spiral roll pin that connects the control handle to the lever that connects to the valve for the hydraulic lift. Just a warning, I don't think you want to do any electrolysis in an enclosed area. The fumes given off tend to go boom when ignited by things like a shop heater.- dgregg
