JESSY, It was a money thing for me, the cub wieghts are 2 bucks a pound, (about). A gallon of -32 windshield washer fluid was $1 a gallon. I think I put 8 or 9 gallons in my 12x12x26. If you figure 8 pounds a gallon for the fluid thats Somewhere between 128 and 144 pounds for 17 to 19 dollars...

Don, It should be B-bat F-field A-armature but I can't remember the order, If you have a post on that V/R with L on it, it's the wrong voltage regulator. Under edit, there you go Don

Don T, You are correct, the amp gauge should show a discharge when cranking. What worried me more about your post is that you heard the regulator click as soon as you hooked up the battery.

Kraig, It says "Even with the encloser". I think the special ducting they spoke of was the muffler box. It more dirrectly points the exhaust air from the cooling fins past the residule heated air from the muffler out the front grill. Keeping that air from recirculating back around the engine...

Bill, Don, The side panels are for noise. Theres no cooling air moveing between the side panels and the engine. QL can be run just fine without the panels.

Jeremy, That would be the way electricity works, it has to do with resistance. The starter generator will turn freely with little amp draw. When amp draw increases the resistance (bad connection, fraid wire, rust) increases. When resistance overcomes the load stuff stops. Worse case senerio you...

Jeremy welcome, You say you got it started by jumping it, mabey cleaning the electrical connection should be first. The pressure leak out the dip stick tube, Could be blow-by but if it was mine I'd see if I could get it running spend a little time with it running see what happens.

Mike, They were supose to be repainted before being sold but some didn't get repainted. If I got ahold of that tractor I'd leave it, the guys that know would appreciate the history that cracked red with white under it represents.

Tim, Harry, Somebody used a torch of some kind, mabey not to cut but to at least warm up something. I had the same area on the drivers side hood of my jeep cherokee and I know how it got there. Looks like they took a couple tries on that hood.

    My 125

Don T, sounds cool. I just missed a diesel dodge a month ago. 354 Perkins conversion. It still had the glass water separators. I know not smart for the road but darn it was sharp.

Doug. M I agree with Steve B except I'll add a mower deck. When the grass gets really long a creeper will keep you from riding the clutch.

Don, It does look like it says that. Good catch Frank. Chevy was one that used a resistor wire in the positive side of the coil. Dodge used a Ballast resistor on theres. These coils were made to work at 6 volts. The cubs used an internal resistor on there coils so the positive side of our...
