    Ryan W thanks for the info did some checking in the parts lookup . My 147 showes blance gears, is the first i am going to look at. My 125 dont have any the 106 no, the 1450 dont show any in the parts lookup. My o's are safe just got the 1250 and it sounds good. The 149 has the thrower on still...

    Tire chains

    Have bought sets of tire chains at rummage sales. they are old car tire chains , shorten them up . Then you are ready to plow snow, Usualy 5 bucks and they work great.

    I work in a tool and die shop. Sure comes in handy,made a new shaft for a Q42a snowthrower to day. Was ready to put it back on ,the drive pulley was wore . Well a bore and bush job next.

    Broken bolt - help

    I broke a sq punch in a hole in the 149 . Took a small grinding wheel on my dremel grinder. Ground in little circles ground it right out. Worked for me ,take your time and stay away from the theads good luck

    Matt, the out side spindles mesures 31.5 , the shell measures 48 in on my 42" mower hope that helps you.

    James MC, just measured the disk on a new kit 3/16" is the size of the one i have. Do you have a pick of the clutch pully ,that might help.

    James mc, I had trouble with my clutch ,make sure the basket pulley has not slid away from the motor . Then the clutch disk bottoms out on the back of the pulley ,that made my clutch not desinguage on my 147.

    keith, I made mine it is 32" long my thrower is mounted on my 147 working good . Just had little snowes lately used the 1450 with power angle blade more . The 147 has the cab ,might halft to find a cab , lot nicer in the cab when it is so cold out.
