Jesse my recommendation for a tank and carb sitting for 20 yrs. with gas in it would be to remove both and clean the inside of the tank. Then disassemble and clean the carb.

Nice garden David. If we don't get some rain my garden will dry up. It is in the stage where it is going to have to have water. Is that tomatoes in the pots?

On this mowing tall grass I think deck design has a lot to do with getting a nice cut. I used my 169 with 44A for a few years and it done a good job mowing anywhere I tried it. However I think there just isn't enough lift on the older decks. I moved the deck to my 149 and there is where I can...

I got the governor gear out of the 241 and it was not froze on the shaft. I think the tab on the gov. arm shaft came loose, turned to one side enough to catch on the side of the governor.

My neighborhood has a lot of rabbits but my dog keeps them out of the garden pretty good. So far he has killed 2 rabbits and 1 groundhog. The neighborhood cats take care of the field mice for me.

1170 not mowing level in turns

Thanks Chuck. I think I have figured out a lift cable has stretched on the left rear and the adjuster is not enough to compensate.

What's up with the ammo shortage?

Walmart is getting about 4 or 5 cases a week of the 22 ammo. But there is always a line waiting to buy it. They limit it to 1 box per person.

    Gardens 2014

I spent Monday plowing and planting garden at home and my brothers garden. I spent yesterday watching it snow. Very unusual for this part of Tn. 24F here now so I will go out and spray the plants with water before the sun comes up and drives the frost in.
