    SB 9A followed me home

I should probably look for a nice 9" South Bend. I looked at a Logan a few years ago, but the bearings were all loose and noisy. Would not have been accurate.

Custom 3-Point Hitch for my Cub 108

Sure- you will just need to drop it down lower- so you have more range-of-motion. The upper arm really doesn't hold any weight. It's all held by the Sleeve Hitch (that #3 piece). When the hitch is in the "at rest" position, the weight is on the lower arms. When pulling- the load will be spread...

Custom 3-Point Hitch for my Cub 108

it's offset for clearance. So during it's lift-range it doesn't interfere with the chains or sleeve hitch. I made everything... C/D was not needed on my tractor, the deck-lift arm had available holes for the "H" bar For "H", I used a 5/8" steel rod with clevices on either end.

    Rock Shaft confusion , 782

See my "custom 3-point hitch" thread I posted yesterday- it shows how I made part #3 using square tube with a round tube inside.

Custom 3-Point Hitch for my Cub 108

This was the last project I started to build for my 108, before the Camshaft broke way back in 2008. I wanted to add a 3-point hitch, so I could pull around a garden cart, utility trailer, and my boat. I designed and built this, taking cues from an OEM type sleeve hitch. I had some nice steel...

CC 782 transmission drive shaft fan????

It's very important to the service-life of the trans. Especially, if you are going to work your tractor. They are available... someone here will be able to help on "where" to get one.

    Cub 108- Driveshaft

    I have started a cart on your site... I will need the pins as well... I don't see them listed for a 108. I looked up the part numbers in my pdf file.. I believe I have them correct: (1) 1/4 x 1 1/8 (2) 1/4 x 1 1/2

    How to handle flash rust

Take your Phosphoric acid, and mix it 50/50 with Isopropyl alcohol (90%+). Put this in a spray-bottle. Spray the flash-rust and wipe immediately with a lint-free rag (I use red shop towels). Blow the surface off with compressed air (it blows away any "fuzzies")... and tack with a tack-cloth...

    Kohler 241 Rebuild/Restore

Yeah... the engine had been apart so long... I didn't know any better... It looked like a machined surface for some sort of gasket...

    Cub 108- Driveshaft

I need a (straight) driveshaft for my 1972 CC 108. The original driveshaft has always vibrated. It's not the bearing or mounts. It is bent slightly at the drive end. I tried straightening it in a lathe using a dial indicator, but without alot of success. It was probably damaged during a bearing...

    Kohler 241 Rebuild/Restore

I just completed a rebuild of the K241 10HP engine for my Cub 108. It received: New camshaft, used crank, Gaskets, new aftermarket carb, thorough cleaning and paint. I also had many parts zinc-electroplated years ago. The upper cylinder (fins) were painted with POR-15 black engine paint, and...

    Old member

Hello again all! I was a member here years ago (2006-ish I think)... but my last post may have been around 2008. I tried to find my old account, but I was no longer in the archives. I wasn't very active, but you all helped me out before with a few things. I have (3) Cub Cadets- a 1972 CC 108, a...
