    Thanks a lot im not up on the newer cubs i have 20 older tractor's, i stretched out one of my 147s by 6 inches so I can get off and on easier. And i want to put dual hydraulics on it Thanks for the info

    Check the breaker plunger rod, if it is aluminum get a new one. I still run into aluminium ones on a regular basis

    I've been buying all my sandpaper products from online industrial supply for s few years now I buy flap disks for 30.00 a roll of 10. Fuji wet dry paper etc . Way superior and lots cheaper .

    I have been into studebakers and tractor's for 50 years i used to have a E13 studebaker one ton that I used to make a trip a week from western pa to Michigan to haul a load of new tractor's up until 1989 the stories and memories that brings back.

    I would be interested in it if you want to sell it, I have a massey ferguson I would put it on. The cast iron tecumseh engine's were not terrible.

    Simplicity 6516

    Single coil 2 wires coming out, it has MAGNATRON ignition I sold those new they mowed beautiful, I would recommend the Briggs factory coil if it continues to not have any spark after ground wire is removed.

    One thing to check on your kohler engines is make sure you have a steel breaker plunger rod. If it is aluminum replace it, kohler had a service bulletin back in the day when I was a dealer.
