    Nick I found a pic on my phone of my PTO before I put it in, I know it's just a pic but I don't see anything different from yours. When you got the right spring you also got a different checking tool right? And all I can think to ask is if you resurfaced the clutch and plate as mentioned earlier...

    He's %100 spot on!!!!!!! I used the wrong spring and checking tool on mine...it took no time to blow apart!

    Parker welcome to the forum! That machine is worth tearing that engine down,you won't know what you need till you do,and the parts won't be as hard to find as you think. A few years back I had never rebuilt an engine either but the manual walked me step by step thru it as well as VERY good tips...
