    My Dad once told me brake fluid,parts cleaner,any of those petro products shouldn't get near paint,rubber,plastic,pets or skin.If it irritates you skin be aware.Use dish soap for the lube,although your Mom says your allergic to that.

    Well said Brett,we know these rear ends are pretty much bullet proof. If a guy has a non smoker,good runner,he should not be afraid to fire it up for a potential customer. A little elbow grease and parts from our on site people, will make a rewarding project

    If it was me,I would take a ratchet and socket,I can't get to my 125 to tell you the size to turn the sg. to see if either of the last two cc in the line up turned over.If they were both gear or both hydro,I would go awful darn cheap on the pair.Their will be better looking, better mechanical...

    How about a little more info on the unit,hours,has it been rebuilt,new Kohler parts or other brands.I had my K-301 overhauled,my tech recommended that rod I had in mine that came from China for cheap should be tossed,I did,I can see what could happen,I wonder if this is possible

    Steering wheel removal

    Looks like that puller was a good solution.When I get ready in the Spring start up,I loosen mine up,in case I have a problem and have to remove steering column. Maybe over kill,but doesn't hurt

    My Dad always taught me,if you want to remove old or rusty or painted fasteners,you should use some removal solution,thoroughly and a day before.More time means better results.Works for me.
