    Wheel weights

The original IH rear wheel weights were only around 25lbs ea. Not enough in my opinion. You can get new 50lb rear wheel weights from Cub Cadet. https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/riding-mower-accessories/wheel-weights---100-lb./OEM-190-784.html#specs-table-specs-chore

    Engine oil

Rotella is not hard to find. You can get it in straight grade or 10W-30 /15W-40

2084: This is a bad starter, right?

You're positive the battery is good? Just because it reads 12+ volts does not mean it is good. I would jump it from a known good battery or car/truck directly to the starter just to be sure.

    IH chipper

Output shaft diameter/length and mounting bolt spacing may pose problems when installing a different engine.

Weak or no spark 1962 Model 70 original 47420

There is a metal loop to solder to. I think I used my old condenser but here is a replacement. You may need to extend wire. It's been years ago and I don't remember. https://www.oldmercs.com/product_p/399-123.htm

Weak or no spark 1962 Model 70 original 47420

I replaced my mag coil several years ago with this. You need to solder the plug wire to the loop and I think extend one of the wires. https://www.oldmercs.com/product_p/399-125.htm

CATS Stray, Feral, Housebound, Declawed, and Otherwise

I have a cat that likes to sleep near me, on the couch or on the bed. Occasionally she will go into a deep sleep and fall off the edge, landing hard and not on her feet. I've even put down pillows if I think it might happen. I found this video of a very similar looking cat doing just that.

Does anyone else think social media is wrong? Blizzard of '78' we didn't blame anyone, we just dealt with it.

    cub chevy 283

Not to me. I would much rather put that engine in an old car or truck.

    Picked up another one

Looks good from this distance! A huge step up from the lawn tractors.

    169 kind code

Maybe there were many built near the end of the wide frames. I have read that some were shipped with manual lift due to a shortage of parts. There is an installation manual for hydro lift for the 169. http://ccmanuals.info/pdf/169%20Hydraulics%20Add-On%20Setup.pdf

Kohler Serial number list, pre 1965

I don't think there are serial number records for pre 1965 Kohlers. The tag on the flywheel housing should have a spec number. An electric start Original would have a spec number of 28542E.
