    "back in the day" guys would intentionally add in runs! 'Cause the factory did it! Guys actually studied where they were and the shape of the runs and worked to duplicate them! I couldn't personally do it.. It would cause me undo pain and agony LOL...

    Gear drive vs Hydrostatic drive, apples to oranges per se'.... hydro consumes horsepower that's why they always use larger engines.

    And a lot of these companies just want to make a sale and call it close enough. And maybe that filter is the right one.... but I have a feeling it isn't, Call Charlie at CC Specialties, he'll solve that one quick enough.

    I have no idea what that filter is.. if their numbers mimics say a fram, then a 16 would be an engine oil filter. NOT a hydraulic filter.

    Sounds to me like the ignition switch is suspect. Run a bypass wire from the positive side of the battery.... to the positive side of the coil, test run it. If it runs, that means you're losing voltage after you crank it. I'd think it was the ignition switch, but also check the wires for...
