Things that Kill my Cub time.

Got my z out this weekend, FINALLY! Hopefully in two weeks I'll be able to get up to my other property and play with my Ducati's! My wife surprised me this weekend and bought me a season pass at road America for track days. So I better get busy lock wiring any nut and bolt on my Panigale, so...

Parts For Sale Dual use IH 3 point lift pin

Click the link...this would do what you want with a sleeve hitch adapter installed: Otherwise you are kind of on your own if you really want a receiver hitch that moves with the hitch. The Cat 0 hitch lends itself much better to this. Yeah, I've seen them for the 3 point and sleeve hitch...

That doesn't slip into the rear lift. Maybe reading comprehension isn't your thing.

Parts For Sale Dual use IH 3 point lift pin

I was wondering the other day if anyone had made a 2 inch ŕeceiver for these lifts. That way you could easily move a log splitter or small boat or something of that nature. In your experience, is that something that would be possible, or advisable?

    mgwin: spring project for gardening

Not only do we still have snow, it's STILL SNOWING! I'm ready to till, get my bikes and boats out, anything but blow snow at this point! I was making firewood today, and you can see the flakes coming down in this pic, it had just started and we wound up with around 4 inches. But we are losing...

    782D journey

That's how it seems to go with a new to you cub. My 1862 has been 1 thing after another, but the end is in sight! My 1650 was the same way, years of neglect, some got sorted out right away on inspection, other things had to be fixed as they reared their head. It is just how it seems to go, sadly....

Looks like a beautiful machine! And I'm one of the rare people that absolutely can't stomach diesels, of any kind. I hate they way they sound, the way the oil smells, the way the oil is always dirty, and the way they all sound like they are ready to rattle apart. And the exhaust smell is the...

    winter projects to stay busy

We still have over 2 foot of snow on the ground up here, but it is slowly going away. Highs have been in the low to mid 30's all week.

    Deals

I'd probly wound up in jail over that! A simple text or call to let you know was all that was needed. I drove 7 hours one way to get my 1862, and was in contact with the seller about every hour "letting him know how we were traveling and making time" but I was more checking on him, than letting...

    QL rear lift capacity

Yes, I agree the loboy would not have an issue. They make 4 1/2 for box blades specifically for a garden tractor, and a land plane has less dragging resistance than a box blade. And it's a better tool for what I need to do. Box blades are lighter, usually around 150lbs for garden tractor...

    QL rear lift capacity

It's a 4 footer. Recommended for tractors under 25hp. I have my loboy 185, that I have pulled my neighbors 5 footer with, but I want to use my little sweet heart, the 1650.

    QL rear lift capacity

I figured it would lift it, but I wasn't sure if it would when I'm coming to the end of a drive way, when there is gravel on the blades. A spring assist is a good idea, I'll get that installed as well. Thanks for the advice digger.

    QL rear lift capacity

I've got a 1650 with the rear lift, and I'm wanting a land plane. The one I'm looking into weighs 233 pounds. Xtreme has there 3 point conversion and they say it offers 35% greater lifting capacity over the stock rear lift. My question is, what is the stock rear lift capacity? I've looked for...

    winter projects to stay busy

Something else I just thought of, I wonder if regional weather has any affect on this? I know the weather in Tennessee is MUCH more stable than up here. Two weeks ago, it was -28° for the low, and we had a high temp that day of 36°. Both sound cold, but that's a 64° swing in about 12 hours, and...

When you buy boards from this dealer, if you purchase an 8 foot board, you actually get an 8 foot 10 inch board. And if you purchase a 1 inch thick board, it's 1 inch thick, not 3/4 like the box stores. The wax is meant to be cut off. If your milling rough cut lumber to finished dimensions...

    winter projects to stay busy

I personally don't, but the hardwood dealer I buy from said to dip the end of the board in about four inches of wax. This will drastically slow the drying process and prevent a majority of the splitting. He said stacking the lumber properly to dry is the most critical part of keeping the lumber...
