Does anyone have a method for removing and replacing the driveshaft on a 147? The plastic fan is missing a couple of fins, and I'd like to replace it with a steel one. Thanks, Greg

Posted my 100 a couple of weeks ago; here's my 147. Does a fine job on our "lawn".

Does anyone know what black dust building up on the front of the belt pulley on a starter/generator indicates?

Thank you Don. I do have the same dipstick, I just can't figure out why 2 1/2 pints brings the oil level up to the full mark

Does anyone know the length of the oil dipstick on a 100? I am measuring from the inserted tip to the metal disk at the bottom of the rubber stopper. Thank you Greg

Have a 100 with an engine "problem". At 3/4 to full throttle, the engine speed surges up and down. The tractor is not in gear - I am waiting for a clutch delivery. I can see the governor arm moving back and forth. Does anyone have any suggestions? THANK YOU!! Greg

Thanks for the 100 throttle pics. They helped, mine has the wrong throttle control on it.

Does anyone have a photo or a schematic of the throttle on a 100? Mine is working opposite; slow position increases the engine speed, and vise-versa. A picture of the controls at the engine may help also. Thank you, Greg

Well, not a good start. Fired up the 100 and the driveshaft came loose from the creeper. Bent the drive shaft and dented the frame right under the steering tower. At this point. I'm looking for some direction and advise. As always, neither of my cubs would be running without this forum...

Does anyone know how to attach the spring assist to a 100 that has a rear PTO? I can't get it to fit with the linkage in the way. Thanks, Greg

Brian, Thank you. Can you tell from the photo if that plow will fit the 100? It seems that the seller is not too sure what models it will fit.

Does anyone have a schematic or picture of a driveshaft installed in a 147? Also, what would be the first thing to check for a 14 HP Kohler breaking up when at full throttle and under a load? Thank you
