Anyone have an opinion or experience on what primer and clear coat to use on "cub cadet paints" for my restoration of my 1872? Last time I painted my mower deck with rust oleum paint my clear coat wrinkled on me in places.

Upgrade NowI'm not an amazing painter. Have had the 'crinkle' problem and now, irrespective of the instructions, let at least 24 hours pass before the clearcoat. Not a bad idea to use both paints from the same maker.I had clear coat wrinkle on me when I painted a tractor,it was absolutely because my paint hadn't cured long enough. Didn't do that again!!! But there are multiple reasons that can happen and there are some amazing painters on this site that could explain it better than I.
