It is alive!!!  With a lot of cursing and head scratching.... it fired up and worked yesterday.

Removed new fuel bowl feom tank, new one wouldn't shut off gas.  So stole new gasket from it for old one, reassembled.

Old carb cleaned with robbed gaskets.

Old plug and plug wire used.

Cranked it about 8 times, puffed smoke and gas out breather side of carb.  Cranked it again couple times and it fired and ran.  Not spit or spuddering.

Just need to set low idle correctly.  Wants to die out if I pull throttle all the way down.  What is correct way to set this, warm engine for starters I am guessing?

Want to say thanks to all who helped.

The 1156 bulbs for tail light, do they come in short version?  I can't  put bulb in and screw lense on, too tall?
