Long time lurker looking for a little insight. I have a 2072 that has been semi retired to snow removal duty now that I bought a new Z-force Cub. I have a 48" blade currently, but, have an guy down the road that has a 451 blower with some pretty bent up blades on it. The main shaft and lift impeller all move freely and dont appear to be bent. I can get everything to work, it's just been ran hard or ran hard into something. He wants $300 for it. I read that the 451 isnt geared correctly for my tractor, but, I dont mind replacing the pto since I no longer mow with it. My main concern, is the blower worth $300 + if I have to repair and replace a few parts? Any insight and info you can share with me will be greatly appreciated.
