Seen one fer sale , called guy and he said he didn't know how many hours were on it and hour meter had been broken for years, was asking 400 $ said it needed a deck belt...gave me wrong directions to his place , that put me 15 min later...now 9.15 pm.....open the hood and it sound funny, he said his wife got pinned between the guide wire for the telephone pole and all most cut off her foot... so hood is tweaked pretty bad and dash is cracked...and he said one sunday when mowing the key switch went bad so he put in a push button for the starter, a toggle for the ignition , a toggle for the lights that didn't work.... but it started better than most mowers I have ever had....I look at the cub cadet hour gauge and it said 2411 hours...wow,,,, the pump was squealing so I flip up one of the worse seats I have ever seen and pull rear dipstick out and its bone dry = I don't know how it moved.... he came down to 300 $ but I walked .....fire away
