Upgrade NowThey work great, you can even get'um with grease zerks.Hey just wondering if any guys on here have changed from tie rod to heim joints how did they work?
Sure don't that don't charge an arm and a leg. Cheaper just to get a good used one these days. Now if we could get someone to refurb the steering shafts (Digger-know anyone with a sprayweld and cnc grinder setup?)
I personally would never use ones with zerks for that reason. But a lot of people like the idea of grease.I put Digger Heims on both the 127 and 149. Only bad thing is there is no boot on the joint so dirt is easily attracted to the greasy surface. Don't think it is a big deal, but I suppose it all depends on your usage.
Just install seals on the heim joints.
