i will have to get pics from him, they are at his house. they look just like the 100# front end weights, just smaller, WITH the IH. will update when i get pic

these are not his as they are unpainted (yet), but these are the style he got for the front end weights.

If you could figure out how to keep them on the front, they would come in real handy while using a push blade to push show. :roflol:

i dont believe if i had a front blade on my tractor, would i have the weights on the front, they would then be on the back. when we get the repo box blade painted for the rear end of the 169, we will need to make the bracket for the weights on the front to keep the front end down. to hold them on, a rubber strap will work just fine. while they are only 10# each, he has 12 that will be for the width of any wide frame. the 120#'s will help hold down that front end. and on top of that, when painted up, they look really good.

so the 169 is a manual lift, however, w/further inspection, at one time it has hydr lift on it. the mower lift rockshaft is all chicken welded together. i can see where the valve was mounted. i believe i have the mount for a 1_9 tractor and may have the steel lines, i have a parts 1450 for the rest including the rockshaft, i have the instructions for adding hydr lift to a 169. in the instructions it talks about 2 springs in the pump, to move one and replace the other from one in the kit. does anyone have the specs on the 2 springs and which goes were to verify if they left in the pump or i have replace/change/move.

I have a 169 that was manual lift and added a hydraulic lift.. It is the exact same lift they used on a 149 so use the specs from that ... That is what I have on mine..
