Fried my new Transdenser.... put the ignition wire on the negative side of the coil. 🤬
Got in a hurry cuz it was starting to rain and the red wire "looked" like it went to the bottom terminal and after trying to start the 1450 I saw some smoke and smelled burnt electrical shtuffs...

Every
Single
Time

Tell myself to slow down and double check things... never seem to learn. 🥺

Guess that's good news for Dave as I'll be ordering more...

Sorry you had a Bad Day. I’ve been weed wackin . So i can cut tha grass with mower and tractor. That’s how much it’s rained.

Well, I ruled out the condenser. Had to put it back on due to frying the Transdenser and once everything was in order, fired right up and ran great 😁

I realize why people removed the deflector from these decks as it really causes the clippings to clog up the chute if you didn't get a chance to mow last weekend...😬🤣

Think we have all been there doing something like this - just part of the fun I guess. Every time I change a motor or mess with the coil/condenser I question myself if I have it hooked up correctly.

Ok, so I'm really on a roll with dumbass, getting ahead of myself, dimwit moves... replaced the center pulley on my deck, cleaned out nicely and reinstalled the safety shield. Getting ready to put the deck back under the tractor and I'm like "where'd this belt come from?" ...

🤬

To add insult to injury, I bought 3/8" x 77" belts from our local CC dealer. (Sorry Digger, I needed them right away)
Put on a belt, mowed for about 15 minutes and it tore up... completely trashed. The deck would stall unless I took it very slow.
This is the crap they're hawking off vs the good IH belt I took off...😡

Are you sure about 3/8? That would be a small deck belt....I didn't look it up but 1/2 sounds more likely...If the deck is stalling the belt is slipping,I assume..If it is slipping it's too long,no tension spring or the 3/8 is running in the bottom of pulleys..A v belt runs off it's sides not bottomed out....just saying....

Yeah, the bigger one in the picture is 3/8 x 78 IH belt. Smaller one is 3/8 x 77 from CC.
Though I did find out that a 1/2 x 78 works good. TS Huskee belt ran good. And let me tell ya, that speed up pulley is freaking awesome... thanks Digger 👍👍
