i picked up a 147 to restore and it came with a snowblower. I removed every nut, bolt, and part on the rusty old snowblower.
What a difference some TLC and hard work make. Put everything through the wire wheel or the sandblaster. only replaced 2 needle bearings, about 6 bolts, and the drive chain. That’s it. I paid $3.50 for the chain $15.82 for the bearings and a few bolts out of my stash.
Next to tackle the motor on the 147. I have almost all of the tractor all torn apart and some items cleaned and repaired. I only work on it when it’s nice out in the garage. It’s -12 Celsius today. Canadian weather sucks.
