Hi all. Proud owner of 1450 w/44” deck for past 28 yrs. Love the capabilities of this beast. My main use is fence line grass management & small pasture mowing (About 2hrs) it’s a workhorse and used as such. Today’s opportunity - back problems are forcing me to modify the seat set up. I’ve tried a A&I high back seat made for a gator. Better but still a crippling ride. I’ve checked FAQ’s for seat suspension modifications to no avail. Q: has anyone mounted a suspension seat to a 1450 or other wide body model that they comfortable with? Looking for recommendation.

I’m 5’7”, 190lbs - no judgement………. Just looking for solution that won’t cost me $10k.

thanks all

Have you tried adding a "donut" seat cushion like people use after back surgery? Local medical supply stores carry them.

Thanks. Looking for a more permanent solution. As the fence line rolls with the terrain, I think I would be readjusting a donut continuously. Looking at Seat Trek suspension. Add in between seat and base plate. The Zero turn seem to like these.

Hoping one of you crafty modifiers out there will have tried this already.

Appreciate the response.
