On my 124 S/G, should there be caps on the oil ports other than the mud dobber ones? Thanks

Yes, and there should be felt inside that holds the oil IIRC.

If your starter generator has been upgraded to sealed bearings, just fill the holes with RTV. You only need the oil for the unsealed bearings.
