Just pulled in from a trip, trying to figure out why farmers on a busy road would be running at night with almost all lights off, just overhead flasher and one fender light. There were four of 'em spread out over about two miles of road with very large tractors, all had multiple lights on them, when I flashed high beams on my motorhome to see WTF was coming towards me, and if I had clearance, two of them turned all forward lights on and then off again. They were not blinding to me with all lights on. Looking at the rear after passing, at least two had a single tail light on.. I'm a little sensitive to this, as I had an employee killed a few years ago when he hit a front end loader head on when passing another slow moving farm truck - no lights on the loader at all, both vehicles were from a very large farm in the area that runs equipment on the road all the time - as a matter of fact in the same area as I was in tonight...
