When I set up the mower deck for a test run the other day, I found that the quick attach hitch springs went AWOL. I've practically torn the barn apart looking for them. In the meantime I am using zip ties to hold the bail up. After some time of looking and online, I am asking here if there were work arounds or sources for them. Lots of hardware and bails on ebay and others, but springs not so much.

Charlie at CC Specialties usually has them but it looks like he's sold out at the moment. Hopefully they have not gone NLA. Here's a link to where he has them listed, it's the 9th part up from the bottom.

Greg - looks like you can get them from RF Houtz and Son (one of the colorful boxes listed at the top of the page). I did a quick search on their website and found them here:
http://cubcadetusedparts.com/Catalog.aspx?search=402344&category=ALL
(had to play around with the original part number IH-402344-R4 , by leaving off the IH and then leaving off the R4 before I could get it to come up - all these parts places use different methods for searches. They actually show the part number with an R1 at the end instead of the current R4).

Okay, finally found some. The last the guy had. Anyone have a picture or drawing of how they go on? It's probably so simple it's genius; but my genius hat 's in the laundry.
