I'm a newbie and have lurked and dug around here for a few days now. I've agreed to purchase an 1811 that I will be picking up tomorrow but have purchased a #2 tiller in advance of that thinking that it would bolt on without too much trouble but now I'm wondering. The tractor I'm buying has never had anything mounted on the rear so i can say with all certainty that there isn't a hitch on it currently. The tiller I bought came with a gear box and a few other things that I'm still figuring out the purpose/function of. Any guidance as to whether or not this can be mounted and how to do it would be most appreciated. I originally bought the tractor because it was inexpensive and seemed sturdy, what I wasn't aware of was how large the enthusiast community is. I will post pictures of the new machine when it gets here in the next couple of days. At least one of the reasons I bought it was that it came with a just paid , nearly $700 seasonal maintenance bill and I didn't pay much more than that for it.
