It's not just USPS, we get canned dog food from Nevada which is the next state over via FedEx and should arrive within 3 days at the latest. At once shipment that came to the Santa Maria distribution center and then we got a notice that was delayed on the next day delay in the next day delayed in the next day we got a notice that it was delivered on the original date was supposed to but no photograph doing it by our gate like FedEx normally does. Email chewy the company dependent dog food and told him we had received so they refunded us $20 to go by enough dog food to tide us over but it never did arrive so they set a new order instead of the other whatever arrives why use it or donated ( still hasn't arrived). This dog food is on automatic restock every 2 months of the next restock order made it to Santa Maria and then was delayed for 3 days there until we got a phone call saying address was wrong but both FedEx dipping invoice and Julie invoice had the correct address so they asked us where we were at we gave him directions and it arrived that day but even with a printout of directions on how find us. The next time a FedEx truck went by our place I stopped the driver and asked him if it was supposed to go to Santa Maria be distributed and he said yes, he said he had not delivered dog to us but he had labored something to was a while back so I guess that's the way it is these days.

USPS must want to hang onto Amazon delivery as it is usually right on the money and even delivers on Sunday even though we don't lever regular mail on Sunday.
