I was wondering if you can replace oil shut off with a sending unit for a gauge?

Bill - I believe Steve Blunier did this on one of his tractors a year or two ago.

You can actually have both like mine. I'll post a pick when I get home from work.

Notice i still have the functioning idiot light

Looks good thats what I want to do. What brand did you use. Thanks Bill

I used sunpro gauges. I used their website as a reference and then gave those part numbers to advanceauto. they got them next day. I've got the electric oil pressure gauge but they have a mechanical that looks just as nice. i went with the electric to avoid possiblity of the tubing line springing a leak. I also threw in a sunpro hour meter and amp gauge. the amp and oil gauges light up when the headlights are on.

I found these Marshall gauges (electric) on Ebay and installed them on my 1872 and 782.....very nice!!!!
