Well this weekend I was finally able to get myself another Cub so I can start the rebuild of my 2185 that it needs badly. I was able to find a Cub 1864 in great shape with all the body still in one piece with only 526 hrs on it has a Kohler Command 18 Hp already was tuned up for the season and has a GT 48 deck. Did a deep cleaning on it to bring back the gloss in the white put new deck wheels on it, re-leveled the deck and did an alinement still need to get front tires and rear tires going to put Carlisle's ag cuts on the back and v61's on the front. After the 2185 is done going to add foot controls to the 1864 due to I got spoiled from the 2185, ill post a new thread on the rebuild progress once I start that thou.

Joe...Nice find ! I have an 1864 with a 54" deck, work in progress, all the major work is done. Still have some little things to do to it. Glad to see someone else has 1 of these machines.

Thanks I plan on making an adapter plate to go on the front in place of the mule drive to accept the plow from my 2185 so I can use the plow on both tractors and I want to take the back fenders off sand blast them down and re-powder coat them due to alot of rust on the back side of them just cant wait to start on all of it soon.
