I hope this posted in the right place. my 450 belt came off pulleys, the spring came unhooked. I hooked spring back up and when I lower the snowthrower to the ground the idler pulley touches the ground and everything comes undone. any ideas or pictures to show how idler pulley and spring should be?

thank you for doing that I appreciate it. also I clicked on the link and nothing happens

The link works for me. It should open a PDF file.

I finally got the link to work...I also have the owners manual for the 450. I got the belt to stay on...somehow the belt was going over 2 pulleys upside down. i fixed that but the one idler pulley is has sparks coming off of it when snowblower is in the lowered position

can someone help me on locating the lift rod it shows part number as 747-0546...I also need the Clevis part that hooks to lift rod. I believe it 2 separate pieces. the guy I bought it off made a rod pout of gas pipe and other parts and a part of it bent. thank you for everyone's help.

Hi I have had the same issue they are a little bit temperamental, for the pulley issue I finally went one size smaller than the recommended belt size seams to have helped with both issues but I find that if I engaged the blower in the up position at little more than idle it doesn't want to throw it. Just my personal experience so far. One other thing the way the tensioner position is located it really has nothing to latch it from snow pushing up on it and kicking the belt off so I put light wire around it and the frame
