On my 106 the mower has seen some hard use. With the frame straightened it seems that the leveling link is too narrow . See the gap in the picture. The cotters seemed to wear or break easily so I made bushings in stead of the washers called for bushings like these to take up the torque on the frame.

Interesting solution. How was the wear on the 1/2" pivot points? On one of mine I had to have them welded up and then ground them back round.
