I bought my first riding mower yesterday after looking for months, its a Model 86, Im not sure of the year. I bought it from an older gentleman who took meticulous care of his equipment. I look forward to using and maintaining it hopefully for another 50 years.

Ryan.. Great looking tractor!! Hope you enjoy your first Cub Cadet like the rest of us have.

Ryan, welcome to the Forum. Your Model 86 is in excellent shape, and it has been cared for very well. However, it is a full-on Garden Tractor (not a Lawn Tractor), so you may post about it on the Main forum page. Although it is not considered a "rare" tractor, I don't think they made too many of them. I believe its more powerful brothers (or sisters?) were more popular --the 108/108, 128/129, 149, and later, the 169. But there are some who say that their 8 HP machines can do nearly anything as useful as their big brothers.

I hope you enjoy "Cubbing" as much as the rest of us on the Forum.

Ryan,, Welcome and great looking 86, Now move over to the main forum, that little guy belongs over
