Has anyone tried to install a Briggs 16 horse twin out of a 1641 into a 782? The most obvious issue is that the Briggs has a fuel pump on it and the tank sits under the rear fender and the old Kohler K17’s fuel is gravity fed from the tank ride behind the engine. I picked up a 782 last night that has a little over 600 hours but it’s a 1st generation K17 and it’s using a lot of oil.
