The lift handle is one welded assembly and includes the rock shaft and lit arms for the deck.
This will be a very cumbersome item to ship.
I suggest you soak the top button for a time w/your favorite penetrant fluid to free it up.

Need a lift handle for 105 cub. The one I have can not free up lift rod or any of the other hardware.
Thanks

The thumb button top unscrews from the rod, yes.
The lock out button on the front is a friction fit and if it is stuck in the depressed position you will not be able to remove the thumb button if you can get it unscrewed from the rod.
Good luck.

Ken,went thru that not long ago....The lock out button on mine (106) was not threaded,it was pressed in so removal is not a good idea if you can avoid it. On mine the inner spring rusted and had broken in many pieces.Pen oil was the answer to getting things to move.Eventually tapping from bottom up(not fun) was the answer to getting rod to move.It has to come out the bottom unless you cut it off. Then it could come out the top and reweld the bottom after... CC has the inner parts...Sounds crazy but either lay it on it's side or pull the front way up with a hoist....What I eventually did was ,removed tube and added an elec. actuator to run the deck.Certainly not original but functional...

Ken this 1 is longer than needed, the important point is to get 1 that doesn't creep back down..Mine was in 600 lb rating held where it stopped. There several available on the net..I just bought a 1000 lb push with 6" stroke from "colorfulemall",ebay..I hope I got that right...made mounting bracket to attach to frame. The heavier duty ones have motor sideways...not speedy but very functional...

I'm continuing to work on getting the thumb button off. I will drill a small hole in the top and see if that will help by putting penetrating oil in it so I can get it off. The lock-out button is gone, it's been sawed off so I'll try to do a little drilling on what might be left to free up the thumb button. any ideas would be appreciated. I want to keep the original lift.

Thanks
Ken

Ken,just to remind you that button is threaded onto the rod..It really shouldn't take much to get it to move...Pen. oil first.Mine had a plastic grip sleeve so heat was not going to work well If you end up scratching it some it should not be hard to replace...

Drilling a hole in it will just be a fruitless waste of time.
That button is near 2" long with female threads in the end that screws onto the 5/16" rod in the center.
