John, Are you referring to the rear lift or the standard mid mount lift? I believe the standard mid mount lift will swap over. The part numbers are however different.
 
Ah, the rear lift is a completely different animal. I suppose one could adapt it to fit a 70 though. The 70 has the same rear differential so the top bracket should mount right up. You would have to swap the mid lift as it has the mount for the rear lift bar. (That's one difference I forgot about when I wrote my previous post above.) And I'm not certain that the lift bar would clear the frame tunnel of the 70. As you know, the Original does not have a frame that extends back. And the lift bar itself might not be the correct length if there's a difference in length between the Original and 70 where the mid mount lift is and where the rear of the differential is.
