I have a 1200 cub cadet, new to the whole working on tractors thing, but it's in my blood. My father did it for years. And I got into Cubs because of him. And now have a wide variety. One in particular, a 1200 cub cadet, I'm having issues with. The PTO stopped suddenly while I was mowing. I have replaced the fuse and pto switch, the belt is good, and all pulleys will move. I have turned them manually. I am at a loss as to what to do from here. Thank u in advance for any suggestions

Do you have a volt/ohm meter? Check for 12 volts on the wire going to the pto. There is a plug about 6-8 inches from the pto where it connects to the harness. You can do this with ignition and pto on and the tractor not running. If that's good check ohms on the pto by connecting the meter to the pto wire and to ground. Should read around 4 ohms. If zero then it's shorted if higher it's open. Either way it's no good and you need a new one. Your 1200 is a garden tractor and you can post on the main board where more people will see it.
