I decided to restore a 1450, long story short I decided to strip the wires out due to mice damage. I wired it exactly like my 1250 is wired so I had a very good visual to help me but I have two what I think are "Fusible Links" but not for sure, I could really use some help! I added some pictures... I would really like to continue wiring it myself but its been a few months and I am highly considering buying a wiring harness. Thanks for the help, also first time being on a forum so I apologize if I posted in the wrong thread.

Yep, Kraig and David are right (as always!) - those are just connectors. They facilitate removing the engine without having to remove wires at the stator and coil. The only fuses are where David said they are.

Awesome! I was looking at the connectors on the 1250 & thought it looked pretty straight forward. If been looking for the exact connectors... or atleast one that would work, any brand of connectors you prefer?

Eric - If you insert a small screwdriver into the end of those connector housings, you can depress the little locking tab and pull the wire out. Then get some new locking spade connectors, put them on your wires, and click them back into the plastic housings.

Here's a pic of one I googled (spade connector with locking tab), in case my description isn't clear:

Huge help everyone, really appreciate it. After I asked about which connectors you guys prefer there was an ad to the right with the exact type I needed, Should of joined this Forum months ago! Greg, The function of the connector is what I was after, your description was great. I ended up ordering a wire harness as a back up.
