My son is building a leaf pulper for his project. Briefly what it does is beat the heck out of cow pea leaves, so that the juice can be squeezed out, boiled, and the protein separated. It's for a ministry of a man we church with and will be going to Haiti to provide them with a protein concentrate. Getting on with it,he'll be powering this contraption with a gasoline engine. I have a 127 Cub and believe what will fit the bill swimmingly is a PTO from one of these beasts. It needs to be mounted vertically (any problem so far?) Next the engine shaft is 7/8", the PTO is 1" soooooooo... I'm in need of the O.D. of the bearing ( without taking mine apart) I am hoping to find a bearing with lock collar that will fit the PTO for a 7/8" shaft. By googling "proteinforkids.com " follow the link, go to pictures and you'll see the first one I helped Tom make years ago. The new one will be modified
to accept an engine or a motor, also a larger footprint.
Any help would be awesome. It's been years since I've visited this site.
