Hello and thanks for letting me join the forum. My tractor has the electronic PTO which recently stopped engaging. So, I bought a new clutch and thought it would solve the problem; it did not. I checked all connections for correct voltage, checked the switch for continuity, and looked for any damaged wires etc. but found none. To be sure I ordered the harness that connects the PTO down below on the frame, and I also ordered the harness connecting the ignition and "dashboard" controls to the PTO as well. Still no luck, so I replaced the PTO switch also; nothing. The engine starts, the tractor drives just fine, but you cannot cut grass. I finally had to hot-wire a car battery and bungie cord it to the deck to cut my grass! All told I am into this for over $300 in parts and it still does not turn the blades on. Does anyone have any suggestions out there??? Please help!

Sounds like a safety switch went bad. I don't know how many would be on that new of a machine, but definitely one under the seat and one for reverse...

I hope this doesn't seem like a stupid question, but did you check the fuse? I sincerely hope that's not it, but you made no mention of it.

Dave,did you unplug clutch and check for voltage coming from switch. you may have to put a weight on seat...safety switches won't allow pto to engage unless all of them are satisfied but engine does not have to be running just ign. on..I didn't see what kind of machine or age . depending on machine brake,seat, reverse ,, may effect pto engagement

pardon me I missed age and mod....2015 must have an anti reverse mode in switch also..can't back up with pto engaged without changing ign position and pressing button
