Anyone replaced the rear main seal on a D600 kubota? I have a 1512 and it is starting to leak oil around what seems to be the rear main seal. Since the engine is in backwards (compare to a truck) the leak is at the front of the tractor and oil is dripping onto the front axle. A quick looks doesn't seem like a bad job just lots of parts to remove (radiator, pto clutch, flywheel). Any suggestions?

Hello All,

Well the leak is getting worse. Time to order the seals. So has anyone out there changed the rear main seal in a 1512 or 782D? I was just looking for any helpful tips.

Thanks,
Bernie

Bernie, You can go under manuals and look and see what is involved and the correct way to do it.

Thanks Rick,

I have the 782D engine manual and have looked over things. I just was looking for some first hand experience.
