Steve Blunier "Mr. Plow" (Central IL)
I decided my plow needed some company, so the next custom implement is an IH 370 wheel disk.

Disk is 60" wide, uses 12" disk blades, and 4x8 tires/rims. Frame is 2" angle, disk axles are 3/4" with 2" pipe spacers and ball bearings. Gang frames are 3" channel, rock shaft is 2" pipe.

Started on it Friday morning (pile of steel) and this is where I left it this evening.

If all goes well it should make it to Red Power in June!

BTW, My new dry saw was AWESOME!!! Clean edges, no sparks, fast!!!!! Really speeds things along!!!

More progress, just need a few details and it will be done!

Spend yesterday on the rockshaft, cylinder, and depth stop.

Spent this afternoon on the self leveling spring cushioned hitch.....worked out great!

Steve B-
That disc sure does look nice. Great fab job. What do yo figure it weighs? Are the blades ordered through brinly??

Very nice work Steve.

Any chance we will see an action video???

.

Blades are 12" x 1-1/2" concavity, 3/4" round center hole from Agri Supply.

Best guess at weight based on steel I have in it, etc. is around 400#......now that it's on wheels, I suppose I can get out the bathroom scales.......

Steve - are you working on a 1/4 scale farm yet?

Finding a corn hybrid that only grows 30" tall is the issue!

Done...Not the best paint I've ever laid down, but not the worst either......angle iron is a $%$@# to paint when it's all welded together in a disk frame!!!!

Now the trick is to be patient for about 3 days while everything sets up good and hard before I try and assemble everything again......then break out the touch up paint!!!!

Finished except for 1 decal, a "370" for below the "International" on the rear.
